Having fished since he could first grasp the basics as a small child, Calum has been obsessed with the sport ever since. Despite only being in his early 30s, he already has 20 years of Carp fishing experience behind him. Being at home in the great outdoors means it's never hard for Calum to find the motivation to be lake side and his love for carp angling only fuels his pursuit of unique carp wherever in the country that maybe.

Calum's passion for carp fishing means that he is happy targeting fish irrelevant of their size, and usually picks his targets based on their uniqueness and the history behind them, this being said he is equally at home hunting big carp with fish of over 54lb to his name. With a tendency to prefer less pressured waters that are usually quieter, and somewhat less known, Calum takes great interest in the mysterious element of a fishing a water, whether that be small weedy intimate waters, or large 200 acre foreign pits.

With new adventures coming up for the coming year we dont expect it to take long for Calum to find his normal form and start putting more dark Old English carp on the bank, and maybe even a target or two.
