With 38 years carp fishing experience behind him Daren 'Tinpot' Norman needs no introduction. As a recognised member of the big carp community for multiple years, Daren has spent a lot of time fishing renowned and iconic waters such as Wraysbury, Roach pit and Wingham to name a few.
It is usually pretty easy to get the measure of an angler from their fishing, but speaking to Tinpot, his own words tell you everything you need to know about him "I loved fishing them all, but Wraysbury back in the day, when it was low stock and granite hard was probably my favourite. I love fishing bigger pits in general, especially the ones with a rich carp angling history". Not one to shy from a challenge, for Daren the harder the campaign and more unique his target, the sweeter the reward, evidence in his current undertaking of the infamous Burghfield.
With a track record of big fish from the continent as well, Tinpot has a passion for the challenge of big public lakes abroad, with his Favourite being the iconic Lac Cassien, a venue he has targeted with great success over the years. As with everything he does in his angling big things await Daren, and the ultimate prize is one of the mighty Orient's giants.
